Day 1: DISCOVER HANOI'S FOODIE BY WALKING
We will pick you up at your hotel in District 1.
Your morning trip begins with a visit to the Independence Palace, also known as Reunification Palace, built on the site of the former Norodom Palace. This iconic landmark of Ho Chi Minh City was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu.
Next, you’ll explore the beautiful French Colonial structures, including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office.
The tour continues with a visit to the War Remnants Museum, where you can view an extensive display of exhibits from both the Indochina wars.
Have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, continue your city tour by exploring the western side of Ho Chi Minh City. Start with a visit to Cho Lon (Big Market) and Thien Hau Pagoda, both located in the bustling China Town. Next, head to Bach Dang Harbor to board a waterbus. Once you’ve checked in your tickets and settled into your seat, the boat will set off, offering you a unique perspective of the city’s iconic landmarks. You’ll glide past the Vinhomes Central Park urban area, the majestic Landmark 81 tower, the Bitexco Financial Tower, and the serene green spaces of District 2.
Along the way, you’ll experience many stunning views, capturing the essence of this vibrant city. Discover the soul of Saigon by cruising along the Saigon River on a waterbus.
